About Pam's Antique Linens Lace & Embroidery
I am a great lover of Antique hand made linens, embroidery and crochet.
I have been a collector for many years and have decided to be a seller
with my daughter Shelley, our items are original and date back to late
1800s to 1900s if unsure of age I state Vintage.
Being a country girl I have the advantage of purchasing my linens at country estate auctions, little Antique & Collectible Stores ( still do ) and from past
relatives.
My linens are of very good quality and I enjoy the challenge of laundering & pressing them as a lot are grotty & stained on purchase.
Because they are old doesn't mean they cant be clean so my linens are
always well presented. I never use bleach on these precious linens I use
an ordinary soaking detergent from the supermarket, I find after
laundering that most of my doilies & linens have never or hardly been
used and have just been stored away for a number of years.
If they have marks or signs of wear I will all ways state in my description, I am no expert and I only use my experience.
Embroidery and Crochet is a dying art and very few young ones wish to learn, quality crochet & linens in very good condition are becoming very hard to find so I am sure there are good homes out there for my lovely linens.
